As usual its a cold, dreary, rainy day here. Your 94 degreees sounds sooo inviting. And that chicken soup would be good about now too. The trees are just beginning to show a green haze; it will be another month before they leaf out altogether. A pair of geese with their young ones visit us regularly and we have a pair of ospreys around also. Usually have a couple of loons here too, I am going to wait a bit before I plant any flowers or veggies. It needs to be a lot warmer for me amd them. Alice

We now have a chicken farm in the park. Feathered friends from next door have been coming to visit every day. They seem to like the owners yard and the park across from us. What next??? Weather is still nice. Lois

Hello from Alberta, Canada When we moved here from Scotland in 1967 we could not believe the "COLD" and depth of the "SNOW" and vowed then to spend winters in sunny Arizona when we retired. That is now and it's so exciting Anyway, do nice permanent trailers come available for rent in January and February each year and if so, who do we contact or do we leave our information and wait........... Cheers! to you all Carole & Charlie Eastaugh

Hello everyone. We arrived home safely yesterday, Apr 30, about 3 P M. Beautiful weather all the way, just quite windy yesterday most of the day, and cool and windy today , and a bit cloudy. Forecast is for rain this weekend but nicer next week. The house is O K after the long cold winter. Alice has gong shopping for groceries and I have to go to the golf course this afternoon to check out my golf cart and make sure it will run. (Hope the battery isn't dead.) Hope everyone is well, and for those of us still in the cold zone just remember, "THIS TOO SHALL PASS."

We arrived home on Friday nite (25th) in a snowstorm! We can't quite top Frannie's 3 feet but we got a foot over the weekend. Lorne is not happy and I hear about how we should have stayed in Yuma longer. Anyway, it's starting to melt so there's hope. We did have a safe trip although we drove in rain most of the way and then snow, slush and slippery roads the last 100 miles. Have a great summer everyone.
